To get the best measurements you want to measure across the top, bottom and middle and take the highest number of the three. Round up to the next number if you have a half or quarter inch number.
You will then do the same for the length of your quilt. Right side, center, and left side measurements and going with the longest if it is not completely squared or even.
No quilt is ever perfect so please do not let this deter you. We will also measure again once the quilt arrives at intake. This is giving you an idea of your top measurements.
I have a 60" x 80" quilt top, I will multiply this to get my square inches. Which is 4800 square inches. I will then multiply this number by .025 for the base price of my quilting. $120 would be your estimated quilting charge. *If you choose a heavily dense design you would multiply it by $0.035.
